The Department of Pastoral Services works collaboratively with diocesan offices, lay movements, parishes, and schools, to develop ministries and programs, celebrations, workshops, and resources, that proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and promote the dignity of human life. Through the Offices of Formation, Hispanic Ministry, and Worship, Pastoral Services promotes faith formation, inclusion, and liturgies and devotions.
The Office of Formation promotes the faith formation of adults, lay ministers, and clergy, as well as the continued formation of those in parish ministry and leadership.
The Office of Hispanic Ministry promotes the inclusion of Hispanic families in faith formation, liturgies, and devotions, through collaborative efforts on ministries and programs, celebrations, workshops, and resources, that are both in Spanish and culturally relevant.
The Office of Worship promotes the liturgical and spiritual life of the faithful. Through collaborative efforts on celebrations, workshops, and resources, the Office of Worship helps enrich liturgies and devotions and oversees diocesan liturgies and liturgies presided over by the Bishop.
