The Office of Child, Adolescent, and Adult Protection (OCAAP) is responsible for ensuring compliance by the Diocese of Tucson and its affiliated organizations with compliance with the Guidelines for the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Misconduct, and implementation of the necessary controls for an effective Safe Environment program. This includes tracking of abuse or misconduct cases and conducting of investigations as necessary.

Audit Reporting

The Diocese of Tucson has been very consistent in its due diligence of its Safe Environment Program as evidenced by the fact that it has successfully passed each audit conducted by the respective US Conference of Bishops (USCCB) Stonebridge Audit teams. The following is the 2021 letter attesting to this for the audit period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021.
