The Arizona Rosary Celebration will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019, honoring Mary under her title, Our Lady of Guadalupe. The celebration will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral, located at 192 S. Stone Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11:15 a.m. The Most Reverend Edward J. The doors open at 8:00 a.m.
Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation before the celebration begins.
Also, before the event, enjoy a pre-program concert starting at 8:30 a.m.
The main program begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 11:15 a.m.
Altar Servers Altar Servers from every parish are invited to attend the Arizona Rosary Celebration in Tucson on October 19, 2019, at St. Augustine Cathedral, located at 192 S. Stone Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. Before the event, Altar Servers will gather at 8:00 a.m. All servers are asked to bring their own cassock and surplice, or Alb and cincture. Attired in their vestments, the Altar Servers lead the Bishop’s Entrance Procession and are one of the most impressive features of the celebration. After the celebration, every server in the procession will receive a Miraculous Medal that has been blessed by Pope Francis. Don’t forget youth ministers and chaperones must have a current Safe Environment certificate on file.
