Office of Human Life and Dignity

The Mission of the Office of Human Life and Dignity is to initiate and support diocesan and parish programs that respect and promote the dignity of human life. This is achieved through education and advocacy that reflects Catholic Social Teaching with attention to the seven principles that underlie our Church's analysis of human and social issues:

a) Dignity of the Human Person
b)Family, Community and Participation
c)Rights and Responsibilities
d) Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
e) The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
f) Solidarity and
g) Care for Creation.
